Picket Guidelines
Member and solidarity turnout is essential, and we want to keep everyone safe and healthy on the lines so folks keep coming out. With that in mind, please follow these guidelines.
Special Pickets
If you are a member interested in holding a special (or themed) picket, please see the Special Picket Calendar and complete the form linked from that page.
WGA East Schedule & Locations
Because production is constantly in flux, we often do not know exactly where to schedule pickets until the day before. With that in mind, please sign up for shifts each day in the general locations provided. An exact location will be provided to you the evening before each shift.
A note on changes & updates to general picket locations
General picket locations (i.e., locations with a note clarifying that the "address will be confirmed via email prior to shift") are tentative. As such, we cannot guarantee that there will be a picket shift in every region each day of the week. In the event that a picket is ultimately not scheduled for the general region you signed up for on a given day, you will be notified of this via email and/or text message the evening before your shift.
In those cases, you will typically receive at least one alternate picket location and shift schedule to attend instead. Please make every effort to report to a shift in the alternative location provided to you. If traveling to the alternate location is not feasible or does not feel safe for you, however, we understand.

ASL Interpretation
Beginning May 31, the WGAW will be providing free ASL services to members, upon request, at two rotating sites per week (Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). If you are a WGA member and would like to request ASL services at these pickets locations, contact the WGAW Inclusion and Equity Department, with “ASL Interpreter” in the subject line. Requests should be made within 72 hours advance notice.

- Sidewalks are in good condition, but narrow. Steep curb with low contrast between the sidewalk and street, which might be challenging for those with low vision or limited mobility. There is not much room for wheelchairs along the picketing area. Limited shade.
